Service Information
Our volunteer pilots are generous individuals who give of themselves in a unique way. They donate their time and flight expenses. LifeLine Pilots does not certify the pilots or the aircraft utilized in the service we arrange. This is the responsibility of the Federal Aviation Administration. Once we coordinate a mission, the pilot in command is responsible for all the details regarding the flight. If, for any reason the passenger or the pilot is not comfortable with the match, that person may contact LifeLine Pilots, and we will try to suggest an appropriate alternative.
Refusal to provide flight services
The volunteer Pilot reserves the right to make the final decision regarding a planned departure or cancellation. LifeLine Pilots also reserves the right to deny a request for repeat services due to, but not necessarily limited to, inability to obtain a Pilot; disregard of rules set forth by the organization for safety or security reasons; if a flight recipient or support passenger is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or transporting illegal substances; any passenger being accompanied by a minor without legal permission or guardianship; the combative nature of any passenger; disrespect for either the Pilot or aircraft; other reasons which LifeLine Pilots may, within reason, deem to be dangerous or detrimental to either the organization, its volunteer Pilots, or any of the passengers. Refusal of flight services shall be documented in the flight recipient's permanent record.
